Felipe Sanclemente

Airline pilot, Architect, Artist and media producer with over 25 years experience in audiovisual production including films, soap operas, documentaries and adverts, I have explored the limits of inhabiting the image. Through this search I have developed virtual worlds and created and designed ephemeral architecture. Besides this, in my experience in aesthetics and as a masters student in visual and plastics art at the National University of Colombia I have started to explore artistic production through the medium of exploring space as a plastic material, such as the characteristics of the sky or of celestial space, that evokes my past as a commercial pilot. He is currently working on a doctoral project, which investigates the way to create an ethical ground based on algorithms; that allow AI (Artificial Intelligence), to explore art and creation, as the limit of human experience. He has worked as a plastic and visual arts advisor in the public sector, where he has made cultural management a path to work for the arts. Now he continues his path in the arts with an independent gallery project with which he makes visible curatorial work with emerging and established artists in Bogotá.
