Water in the borders is a research-creation project created within the academic framework of the partnership established between the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
The border in this project is assumed from different academic and transdisciplinary perspectives as a semipermeable membrane, as urban border, but also as a social, ecological and aesthetic space, among other perspectives.
This project aims to promote a reflexive and integrative thought that draws attention to rivers and bodies of water as a critical issue in Colombia and other countries in the world, through different approaches to the research-creation processes. Moreover, this project explores the connections and tensions between cartography, territory landscape.
This workshop took place during the months of February and March of 2015 in Villavicencio and July 2015 in Berlin, Germany.
